LSSC Has Added Some New Summer Events!
Biking in Germany 2022Welcome to the Lake Shore Ski and Sports Club! We are a ski, sports and social club serving Chicagoland for more than six decades. We plan, organize and run trips, events and other activities locally, nationally, and internationally on behalf of our membership and their friends. We are made up of adults who are committed to being active throughout our lives and love being with others who do, too. If that's you, please join us here.
With Fall 2026 approaching and next season's ski events already posted, we would like to add a whole slate of new activities for the remainder of this year to this website. We could offer cycling, hiking and other sporting events here as well as additional social, dining, cultural and meet-up activities. To offer the diverse experiences our members and friends enjoy, we need volunteers to help plan, organize and lead the activities. Whether you have a favorite hiking trail, restaurant, sporting activity, or local attraction you'd like to share, we'd love to hear from you.
So you've never led an activity before. Don't worry! Experienced Board members and past event leaders are available to help guide and support you every step of the way. Simply reach out to our Co-Program Directors, Kelly or Darren (program.director@lssc.org), and they'll help you get started. Together, we can enjoy making this fall a season full of fun, adventure, and new friendships!
