CHICAGO RIVER CLEAN UP!
Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 9am to 1pm Organized by Friends of the Chicago River
This is your opportunity to give back to Chicago – join us on Cleanup the Chicago River Day with the Friends of the Chicago River. We will look for trash along the banks of the river, with bags and gloves provided by Friends, for about 2 hours, then relocate at a nearby restaurant for lunch. It’s a great program and a wonderful opportunity to help get and keep our Chicago River clean. Register with LSSC then meetup at Lawrence's Fisheries (just south of Ping Tom Park) at our cleanup location for the Chicago River Cleanup Day. We'll sign-up on-site like we did last year.
