Combined Alpine and XC Ski Trip to Innsbruck Austria Innsbruck Austria is our destination for Alpine and Cross-Country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and sightseeing for 7 days, flying United Airlines from Chicago to Munich, then traveling via bus to Innsbruck and our Hotel Innsbruck in the heart of the City. Daily breakfast is included; all other meals are yours to enjoy throughout Innsbruck and the ski resorts, except for our last night, when the Club will have a farewell dinner at a wonderful restaurant in Innsbruck. Downhillers can purchase a Ski Plus Pass for 6 days up to 300 euros that includes lift tickets at 13 resorts and City sightseeing. Cross-country skiers will purchase trail fees at each site. We are recommending rentals in Innsbruck or ski resorts for both alpine and cross-country skis. It’s a $100 fee to bring skis each way on United! There are 2 ski rental locations in Innsbruck - Die Boerse (www.dieboerse.at) and Intersport (info@intersport-olympia.com) as well as every ski resort. There is much to see and do in Innsbruck – castles, palaces, museums, historic Old Town, shopping. Day trips to Salzburg and even Venice may also be planned. Join us for a wonderful ski trip!
