A Cardio Class - Kayaking on the Chicago River


Join us on the water for an evening paddle on Monday nights in July! We’ll kayak north and enjoy the birds, views of great river-side abodes, and the cooler-than-the-street temperatures. Swallows are eating the bugs, no mosquito repellant necessary. We’ll have 4 of the 5 Mondays to paddle; final schedule TBD. They call this a cardio workout, and you can get a good cross training, but it’s as chill as you want it to be, too.  If you’ve never done this ride before you will be trained on kayak basics.

Cost:    $95 for first-timers, $60 for repeat paddlers from past years
