Join us on the Great Lawn at Pritzker Pavilion for a picnic (BYO food and drink) and the Grant Park Orchestra’s performance Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus:  Carlos Kalmar, conductor; Christopher Bell, chorus director. The Grant Park Chorus joins the orchestra for a world premiere commission by Syrian-American composer Kareem Roustom, along with the U.S. premiere of Carl Vine’s Choral Symphony. The program also includes Beethoven’s spirited Symphony No. 8 and Sibelius’ Karelia Overture.

In the lawn section, find Julie at the far right side (furthest Eastern corner) and closest to the walk way between the chairs and the lawn. Julie will be arriving at 5:30. The concert starts at 6:30pm.
