About this event
Hike the "606" - Saturday, January 4, 2025, 10 AM to 3 PM - POSTPONED
The “6606” is an elevated path on the retired railroad tracks from Marshfield to Ridgeway, a length of 2.7 miles covering the areas of West Town, Humboldt Park, and Logan Square. It’s a paved path that sees rooftops, passes over streets, has lovely parks – quite a feast for eyes, especially with Holiday decorations still in full view and possibly snow. Bundle up! The path is shared with bikers, strollers, leashed dogs, and hikers at all times. We will meet at 9:30 am and hike until lunch, then finish our hike to our transportation about 3:00. Locations for restaurant and parking will be advised later.
