Eight people joined us on our ride along the Illinois Prairie Path and the Best Western trail.  The weather was perfect- sunny, no wind, and temperatures in the upper 70’s.  All except Linda did the entire 22-mile route.  The only mishap was with Linda having a flat tire about 4 miles out.  Fortunately, Marty had a compressed air device that got her halfway back to our starting point.

After our return to Villa Park, we had a great lunch at the nearby More Brewing Company before heading home. Jim and Kathy Hekman won the award for having traveled the farthest distance. They got bright and early traveling 2 hours and 45 minutes from Holland, Michigan to join us.
