Lake Tahoe – Combined Cross Country & Downhill Ski Trip

We are going back to Lake Tahoe!  There will be plenty of great skiing for both downhill and cross-country skiing. The downhillers have Northstar and Palisades Tahoe (f.k.a., Squaw Valley) within minutes from our top-rated hotel. The people on skinny skis (cross-country) can travel by van to nearby Royal Gorge, Tahoe Donner, or Tahoe City. We will be staying at the top rated, and newly renovated Martis Valley Lodge.
This is a land-only package where people arrange their own air transportation.  We have vans reserved to pick us up Saturday afternoon at the Reno, Nevada Airport to take us the less than 40-mile trip to our destination resort which is just outside of Truckee.  Of course, if you want to travel by train, Amtrak offers a daily stop in Truckee.
