Our fellow LSSC member JoEllen Reed has graciously offered to take a group of 8 people out sailing on the “Cat’s Meow,” the 36’ catamaran she co-captains and shares with her partners. We will sail from 1-4 pm, then once safely tied up at the dock, we will relax there. Please bring your own drinks, snacks, food, and/or cocktails to enjoy on the dock.
The Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club (CCYC) is open and available for use of the bathroom facilities and to purchase food. There is a porta-potty on board available to the women and a different accommodation for men.
Dress appropriately for the weather! Bring sun protection, closed-toed sneakers are better than flip flops, and consider bringing a jacket since it’s always cooler or and near the lake.
To get there: exit Lake Shore Drive at Montrose. Head east past the soccer fields and look for free public parking closer to the water. The docks are numbered alphabetically, and the boat is located on the ‘N’ dock, which is right in front of the CCYC and the dinghy dock.
Come join us for a fun afternoon on the water!
