Join us for a fun and active day that combines the best of Chicago’s lakefront, history, and cuisine!
Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025
Meet Time:10:30 AM (wheels up shortly after)
Starting Point: Foster Beach in front of Lakeside Cafe
We’ll ride together along the scenic lakefront path, making our way downtown to the Richard H. Driehaus Museum, a stunning Gilded Age mansion showcasing art, architecture, and design. Currently on exhibit: Tiffany Lamps: Beyond the Shade. Our group tour begins at 11:30 AM.
After exploring the museum, we’ll head just two blocks over to Eataly for a delicious lunch - choose from a variety of Italian favorites and enjoy some well-earned fuel after the ride and tour.
Details:
• Moderate-paced group ride, suitable for casual riders (10-12 mph)
• Approx. 12 miles ride from Foster Beach to the museum and 12 miles return to Foster Beach
• Please bring a bike lock for parking during the tour
• Helmets, water, and sunscreen encouraged
Come for the ride, stay for the art, and end with great food in good company!
