Bike the North Branch Trail
The North Branch Trail connects Chicago to the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe. The system includes trail loops through ecological restoration sites with diverse native wildlife.
Early start time allows us to gain a bit of a lead on this very popular weekend route. We’ll start at the beginning of the recent southern trail extension at Foster just east of I-94. (Irene Hernandez Parking Lot W Foster Ave, east of N Cicero Ave ) Estimated total length: 36.7 miles. Possibility of brunch at the Chicago Botanic Garden.
Where: Meet at the Irene Hernandez Picnic Area Parking Lot
. When: Sunday, June 28, 2020 Time: Meetup at 7:45AM.. The ride will leave the lot promptly at 8AM. Note the early Start Time. Registration Closes: Friday, June 26, 2020 The number of participants is currently limited to 10 for this event in accordance with State of Illinois COVID-19 regulations.
