Enjoy the flavors of Morocco at Shokran, a long-established restaurant in the Old Irving neighborhood, serving the classics--from chicken bastilla to harira; from tagines and couscous, to kabob.
Delicious, healthy food, including vegetarian options; friendly service; pleasant atmosphere; approximately $35-40, including appetizers, main course, mint tea, and corkage fee. A great place to share appetizer salads of beets, carrots, eggplant, spinach, or spicy shrimp or kefta. Lots of tender lamb dishes as well as chicken, fish, and beef. Moroccan spices abound but are never overpowering. The house-marinated complimentary olives are reason enough to visit.
