About this event
How about a scenic early fall ride on the bike path along the Skokie Lagoons and through the Botanic Garden and McDonald Woods, connecting with the Robert McClory trail in Highland Park?
We'll visit beautiful stops at the Forest Preserve at Ft. Sheridan and the Open Lands path, then onward via the bike path to Lake Bluff’s Sunrise Park.
We'll lunch at a restaurant in Lake Bluff and return by the same route.
We'll ride bout 25 miles at 10-12 mph.
Where/When: Meet at Skokie Lagoon Kayak Rental, parking lot with entry from Tower Road and just west of corner of Forestway Drive.
