Lakefront in Bloom Hike - Wednesday, April 3, 2024
Weather Alert for Wednesday, Check with Trip Leader! Trees and flowers should be blooming on April 3 when we take a walk on the Lake Shore Hiking Trail from Shedd Aquarium to North Pond and Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Lincoln Park. The hike begins at 10:00 am; it’s a 2 hour hike to Lincoln Park where we will lunch – maybe R J Grunts – then return to the Shedd and our vehicles. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful lakefront, and this hike takes in much of it.
The hike was originally planned for Burnham Harbor to Lincoln Park, but the mileage was too much – 9 hour hike! So, this is much better!
Where/When: Meet at Shedd Aquarium (parking is available there) just before 10:00 AM .
