On December 17, 2019, we started off the evening with a wonderful Italian meal at the cozy Acanto restaurant on Michigan Ave. After dinner, we walked past the beautiful holiday decorations and Christmas tree in Millennium Park. At the Harris Theatre, Stanley Sperber was an entertaining and talented conductor for the concert. We had a great time singing (with thousands of others) the choruses of the Handel’s Messiah. We thoroughly enjoyed the world-class soloists and wonderful orchestra. Hallelujah! --Jan Carlson Event Leader
