Active Transport at July Social Meeting –

Steve Simmons, Trail Advocacy Manager at Active Transportation Alliance, gave us an update on all of the bike trail projects going on around the city and along the Chicago River.  Several members expressed interest in leading Lakeshore volunteer activities to support the proposed 27-mile Chicago River Trail.  Interested members can learn more and sign-up at https://activetrans.org/our-work/bicycling/chicago-river-trail.
