Back to Cross-Country Trips

This trip offers something for everyone! Stokely Creek and the Hiawatha Highlands offer gentle rolling cross-country trails winding past frozen lakes and waterfalls. Sightings of moose, otters, pileated woodpeckers and bald eagles are common. Designed by and for skiers, Stokely Creek claims its 80k to be “the best and most varied cross country trails in North America.” Hiawatha has another 40k of trails. Snowshoeing, riding the snow train, and shopping at the quaint shops in Sault Ste. Marie could all be on your agenda. The spa at Algoma Watertower Inn boasts “Northern Ontario's only salt water filtration pool facility”, including a sauna, whirlpool, and indoor/outdoor pool complete with waterfalls. I hope we all find time to ski!

Trip includes 5 nights accommodation, coach bus transportation (city and suburban pick-up), a group dinner, wine and cheese party and one complimentary box lunch. Trail passes are not included. Free cross-country ski lessons are dependent on instructor availability.

NOTE! A valid passport is required for everyone to travel to and from Canada.
