| Back to Western Trips | |
We will be returning to the Vail Spa again this year, located in Vail’s Lionshead area complete with shopping, dining and steps from lifts! The trip departs on a Saturday so we can stop at Applejack’s on the way to the mountain, since liquor stores are closed on Sunday in Colorado. This trip includes six nights lodging, air and ground transportation, five-day interchangeable lift ticket valid at Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin plus a wine and cheese party.
The Vail Spa Condominiums offer 3 bedroom/3 bath units (singles will have their own bed), indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub, sauna, steam-room, and fitness center and massage services.
We will be flying into Denver via American Airlines*:
Saturday, 2/21/09 – Depart O’Hare 8:25 a.m. and arrive Denver 10:10 a.m.
Friday, 2/27/09 – Depart Denver 3:20 p.m. and arrive O’Hare 6:45 p.m.
What more can we say about Vail, a perennial favorite for skiers of every stripe? Vail is consistently ranked as the “epicenter of skiing and snowboarding in North America.” Spanning more than seven miles with over 5,200 acres, its massive network of trails and high-speed lifts provide access to excellent cruisers, Blue Sky Basin’s rugged terrain and the famous Back Bowls. Shopping and restaurants are world class!
* Note flights are subject to change and may also be subject to additional fuel charges.
