Join your fellow LSSCrs for another great weekend of downhill skiing and snowboarding at Granite Peak. This ancient mountain rises 700 feet above Wisconsin's plateau, collecting more than its share of natural snow, and expertly provides extra snow if needed. With its 74 runs, Granite Peak offers plenty of downhill excitement for all levels including two mogul runs, two terrain parks, mile-long cruisers and expert chutes. Beginners don't be shy. Granite Peak has wide-open beginner terrain with three dedicated beginner lifts.
The trip includes lodging (two per room), lift ticket, continental breakfast at the hotel and bus transportation (two pick up points - downtown and northwest suburb), NASTAR race and expert PSIA-certified ski instruction. We'll start the fun early and guarantee a comfortable ride and enjoyable time up with soft drinks, water and munchies (feel free to pack a dinner) and keep partying on the return trip home with pizza, soft drinks and water.
Once again we're staying at Stoney Creek Inn (www.stoneycreekinn.com) located in the beautiful Wisconsin River valley, known for its fine service, in-room amenities you would expect and welcoming North Woods atmosphere. The Inn's "Wilderness Park" features an indoor pool, whirlpool spa, dry sauna and game room. There's plenty of dining, shopping and entertainment options in beautiful downtown Wausau.
Lakeshore guarantees a wonderful weekend catching up with old friends and welcoming new friends. See you there!
