Back by popular demand we are returning to the club’s favorite day-trip location. An easy bus ride from Chicagoland, Chestnut features beautiful views of the Mississippi River Valley from every run and a variety of terrain for all abilities.

We offer two pick-up points - downtown and northwest suburban for our friendly bus trip. As always, they day will be capped off with a dinner at Fried Green Tomatoes, a great Galena restaurant.

The trip includes bus transportation with snacks/beverages, lift ticket including NASTAR race and dinner.

Come and enjoy a day on the slopes with your Lake Shore friends here in the Midwest!

There is also a non-skiers option for this trip to enjoy historic Galena. You will arrive and return with LSSC, our wonderful hospitality is included at no extra charge! The day is yours to take a personal tour of Galena (see www.galenatourism.com) and then rejoin the group for cocktails and dinner at Fried Green Tomatoes (dinner is included in your package).
